The stop sign “Tomare”

In Japan, whether walking, cycling or even driving a car for example, it’s very important to know a signal called “Tomare” 止まれ It is imperative to stop, equivalent to the stop sign. Usually found everywhere as a traffic sign or written large on the pavement of the streets, and depending on the signal is intended for drivers of motor vehicles, or people who ride bicycles.
