We all have the typical image of Japanese tourists with their cameras when they make visit abroad. Well, even within Japan they are very fond of taking pictures as well.

Perhaps it is surprising that there are many older Japanese who seems to be amateur photographers if we pay attention to the powerful and modern SLR cameras that usually accompany them. Maybe it could be easier to understand if we consider that the most of the major camera companies are Japanese: Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Sony, Panasonic, Casio, Fujifilm, and Olympus…
