During my visit to Osaka with friends recently, we happened to pass through this famous fresh baked cheese tart shop named Pablo (パブロ).
Apparently, this Pablo chain in Dotonbori-street just opened at 27th June 2014. Despite the fact that it is still kinda new in that area, it has already become a trend in Japan where everyone visiting Dotonbori-street is going to have a taste at their great tart!
The shop have a great atmosphere and the price is considered cheap for a fresh baked cheese tart which tasted so good! Plain cheese tart priced at 680 Yen. Other flavor like matcha (green tea), chocolate, chocobanana, cinnapple, and berry flavored cheese tart priced at 870 yen each (including a mini ice cream!). While for beverage, they have tea, coffee and special smoothies ranged from 350 yen to 500 yen each.
Another attraction point of the shop is that the shop is full of pretty ladies working as staff (who doesn’t like pretty ladies?). I swear that we go in the shop not because of the pretty ladies but for the cheese tart. I swear…
Just when we done finishing our cake and tart, suddenly few staff came upstairs and suddenly said that they are going to do a dance performance for us! They done two dance. The first one being their theme song of Pablo and the 2nd dance was “Koi-suru Fortune Cookies” by AKB48. (Not sure they doing it all the time or maybe we were just lucky to be there during the dancing hour. ^.^)
Pablo is really a good café for good cheese tart and having a relaxed time there. I hope you guys enjoy and please pay a visit to this shop during your visit to Osaka.
