Yukata

Yukata (浴衣) is a summer clothing that has the same pattern as kimono, but is made of cotton, making it cooler and comfortable to be worn in the summer months.

In contrast to kimono, the inner layer called Jyuban is not used and neither Tabi socks is worn. Another important accessory is the belt called Obi, which wraps around the waist, making a nice knot on the back. Last, usually Geta sandals are worn without socks.
