Nihonbashi Art Aquarium 2014

There is a famous goldfish event in Tokyo which I wanted to go so badly since long time ago and finally I’ve been there last month (14th September). It is near Tokyo Station and it’s called “Eco Edo Nihonbashi Art Aquarium” (アートアクアリウム 2014〜江戸・金魚の涼〜).

The event is held every year during summer and it runs a period of 2 months. This event cannot be missed out during summer as it will definitely make you forget the summer heat out there. But one bad thing is the crowds, there were too much people and we couldn’t enjoy it peacefully (maybe because it was Sunday when I went there), so I recommend you guys go on weekdays in the future.

My first time see this ( Celestial Eye Goldfish) with 'telescope eyes'

At first sigh, I was like OMG their chubby face so adorable!! ( But then after that I came to know that, that were their eyes and we called them Bubble-Eye Goldfish lol)

Seeing those beautiful goldfish, which are more than 5,000 goldfish of various breeds swimming was really amazing. It definitely made everyone had a relaxing time surrounded by beautiful goldfish. The exhibition represents “a new form of art using water, light and moving imagery (goldfish),” according to its official description. The combination of the goldfish with the design of tanks, lighting, music and projection mapping had make a great art performance.

The gorgeous one! *Breathtaking*

The mirror effect of the aquarium tank comes out amazing effects.

The final piece and I love this the most. It is a projections of the changing seasons accompanied by traditional Japanese music. The combination among the projection and the shadow of goldfish was really amazing.
